Mokhotlong Aug. 09 — The Christian Council of Lesotho (CCL) in the district and other church denominations held a special prayer service intended to pray for peace in the Khubelu area.
The prayer service was held at Mafura a Pela Primary School in Khubelu, Mokhotlong on Friday.
A member of the CCL, Mr. Tanki Mots’oehle said the Council has been concerned with the killings that always happened within the Khubelu valley more than other places in the district hence the prayer service to urge the public to stop acts that affect the lives of others badly.
The message for the day’s event was drawn from the Biblical scripture, Genesis 13: 7-9 which called all to stop quarreling with each other because they are close relatives.
