CCL ON ENDING ABUSE AGAINST LGBTI COMMUNITY

Berea, Sept. 28 — Christian Council of Lesotho (CCL) will lead community leaders dialogue aimed at ending violence against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) community on Monday at Assemblies of God church, Teyateyaneng.

According to Berea CCL Secretary Ms. Nozipho Kosie, the dialogue is intended to raise awareness about the abuse cases targeting the LGBTI community and how they can join hands in protecting them.

Ms. Kosie said in most cases the LGBTI are deprived their freedom in many aspects of life to a point whereby they feel isolated from the rest of the community.
