Leribe, Nov. 20 — Children are the leaders of today and their protection and safety should not be left out but be taken into consideration in developing them.
This was highlighted by a United Nations Children’s Fund ( UNICEF) representative at the World Child Day celebration hosted by UNICEF in association with World Vision Lesotho at Phelisanong Center for Disabled, Pitseng in Leribe.
The event was celebrated under the theme, ‘Listen to the future; investing in the future.’
Mr. Deepak Bhaskaran said the theme for this year reminds the people of the powerful truth that the key holds in children for their potential in the next generation.
