COLLABORATION NEED TO BE STRENGTHENED ON NUTRITION ISSUES – DR. SEBOTSA 

Mokhotlong, July 28 — There is a need for all stakeholders in food and nutrition issues to strengthen collaboration and coordination in order to improve the nutrition status in the country.

The Food and Nutrition Coordinating Office (FNCO) Director, Dr. ‘Masekonyela Sebetsa said this when addressing participants of a three day meeting on the National Food and Nutrition Strategic documents dissemination held in the district from Monday.

Dr. Sebotsa said the purpose of the meeting was to sensitise and disseminate key national documents at district level, empower participants including Mokhotlong Nutrition Team with relevant information for improved implementation of nutrition interventions.

She further stated that it is also to enable participants to understand the mandate of different ministries in an effort to build strong linkages while also harmonising service delivery on food and nutrition issues.
