Maseru, Jan. 16 – Maseru Operation Hloekisa Lesotho Committee has resolved to raise awareness campaigns prior to cleaning campaigns’ in a bid to keep the environment clean at all times.
The decision was reached during the Committees’ meeting held in Maseru on Tuesday whose objective was to reflect on the successes and challenges faced during the last cleaning campaign held in the district last week Friday as well as mapping the way forward.
Speaking at the meeting, Mrs. Limakatso Mohapeloa from the District Administrators’ Office said there is need to identify areas to be cleaned, create awareness about the importance of a clean environment then embark on a cleaning campaign thereafter to ensure the environment remains clean.
