Mafeteng, August 17 — The District Administrator for Mafeteng Mr. Motinyane Motinyane says the reconstruction of Tsoaing bridge is progressing well after its collapse following excessive rainfalls in 2021.
In an interview on Thursday he said following the cracking of Tsoaing bridge which connect two Community Councils of Lehlakaneng and Ramoetsana in December 2021 thus causing inconvenience to daily users of the bridge as they were forced to travel long distance to reach their different destinations using alternative roads which forced commuters to take too long to reach their destinations unlike in the past where they just took few hours.
He highlighted that the engaged contractor China Geo Engineering Corporation has completed the temporary bridge to ease movement for both members of the community journeys particularly those using the bridge on daily basis such as business community and equipment from one place to another even during heavy rainfalls that might fall any time. . .
