Maseru, Aug. 13—The Lesotho Football Association has hosted two members of the FIFA Regional Office in Johannesburg in Regional Office in Regional Development Manager, Mr. David Fani and the Project Cordinator Ms. Christine Gama, who were in the country for a four-day visit.
According to LeFA Media and Communications Manager Mr. Mikia Kalati, during their visit to Lesotho, the FIFA Officers visited Setsoto Stadium to inspect progress made since the government of Lesotho closed the only national stadium for upgrades anticipated to be completed by October, 2026.
He also indicated that the duo further met with the LeFA President to discuss infrastructural development at the three LeFA Technical Centres.

Kalati commented that LeFA has made big strides in securing sustained support from FIFA through the FIFA forward Projects and other projects, in which MAs have to go rigorous application processes and adhere to strict accountability measures to access funding from the world football governing body.
“LeFA continue to enjoy a lot of support from FIFA under the leadership of Advocate Salemane Phafane (KC) with the football governing body President Gianni Infantino having visited the Kingdom in 2021,” Kalati said. . . .
