Maseru, Dec. 28 – Local youth aspire for realisation of National Youth Council (NYC) in this coming new year – 2024, Thuso Leina of Lesotho Work Camp Association (LWCA) has said.
According to Leina, NYC is a matter of great concern among Lesotho youth that will embrace engagement of youth voice in decision making. “Being part of the decision making will help us to own issues and matters arising in our lives while also contributing in making us responsible citizens”, he said.
He appealed to youth in their different spheres to stand in solidarity, support one another so that issues affecting them can be tackled in 2024 as he is hopeful that things will work out better in the coming season. . .
