COURT TO DISMISS CASES

Maseru, Apr.07—-At least 28 civil cases are up for dismissal as the High Court,  Chief Justice Sakoane Sakoane will on Wednesday hold a dismissal roll.

According to a statement from the office of the Registrar of the High Court the cases have been filed in the past three months  and more, but have not been prosecuted. It is stated that none of the parties involved in each of the cases, have taken action to ensure that the cases are prosecuted or dismissed for want of prosecution.

The statement indicated that all parties or legal representatives are directed to appear during the dismissal roll to show cause why their respective cases shall not be dismissed for want of prosecution unless acceptable and sufficient reasons are given why they should not be dismissed…
