District Child Protection Team ( DCPT) in collaboration with Makoanyane Hospital on Saturday celebrated International Boy Child Day through a peaceful march, aerobics, drama and poems.
The day was celebrated at Checha ground, under the theme “Nourishing the boy child in a changing world.”
In her remarks, the DCPT member, Mrs Tlaleng Maimane said this day marks the importance of a boy child in different aspects of life.
She stated that they have discovered that boys are neglected and their emotions are not valued as they are always told to be strong.
