Mokhotlong Aug.05 — The Mokhotlong District Nutrition Team together with Department of Health through its Nutrition Office will mark this year’s World Breastfeeding Week at Masaleng and Mokhotlong town between Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
The Senior District Nutrition Officer from the Health Department, Ms. Tholoana Masupha said the objective of this annual event is to further highlight benefits that breastfeeding can bring to the health of children and promotion of their wellbeing.
Ms. Masupha said during the event, the plan is to conduct a nutrition assessment to children under the age of five adding that assessment will be done to identify children who are well fed. . .
