MOLEKO UNVEILS 40 MILLION WATER PROJECT FOR LEKOKOANENG

Berea, Jan 17 — Minister of Natural Resources Mr. Mohlomi Moleko led the sod turning ceremony of the M40 million water supply project for Lekokoaneng community on Wednesday during the event held at Litsiling.

In his remarks Minister Moleko said water is the most important commodity in human life, because a person can spend 60 days drinking water without eating anything, but still survive, however, failure to drink water within such days can lead to death.

Mr. Moleko said Lesotho being part of the global world and the development goals, it has pledged its commitment to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) which among other include SDG 6 which highlight, “To ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all”, and they are working tirelessly to ensure that to ensure that by 2030 every person has access to clean water. . .
