Botha-Bothe, July 19 — Minister of Education and Training, Professor Ntoi Rapapa, has donated food and clothing to 50 vulnerable families in Liqalaneng, Botha-Bothe.
The donation ceremony began with the planting of 50 trees in the village, involving the minister, education and training officers, villagers, and the village chief.
According to Mr. Zongezile Dlangamandla, an education and training officer in the department of planning, the initiative to support vulnerable communities began as a way to celebrate Public Service Day.
“In celebration of the day, officers are reminded of their responsibilities and how they should serve the people. We started playing games to celebrate, and that is where the idea of giving back to our communities was born.
