OPPOSITION MEMBERS DEPART SENSITISATION WORKSHOP

Maseru, Aug. 05 — Some opposition members departed from the sensitisation workshop on the Tenth and Eleventh Amendment to the Constitution Bills for the National Assembly on Monday.

Member of Parliament (MP) for the Makhaleng constituency, Mr. Mootsi Lehata, argued that they could not proceed with the workshop without knowing the outcomes of an earlier meeting. 

This meeting, involving opposition leaders and the government, was intended to discuss the way forward for reforms, causing a delay in the workshop’s start.

MP. Lehata emphasised that some issues leading to the workshop were supposed to be addressed in that meeting, making it crucial to understand what had been agreed upon. . .
