Maseru, Oct. 12 — The Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition Mr.Thabo Mofosi says it is the responsibility of the Ministry to review its policy with regard to agricultural land.
This he said in his statement, emphasizing that the review of this policy would give farmers a go ahead in using agricultural land.
He indicated that low production of food in the country forces the Ministry to analyse the difference between the use of agricultural land in the past and recent years.
“The manner in which houses are built in agricultural land is alarming and calls for intervention as agricultural land is compromised” he stressed.
