Maseru, Nov.20—- Advocate Lepeli Molapo, a defence lawyer in a case in which four men are charged with the murder of Mothibe Mothibe, Thomello Ntsane and Ralikonelo Joki, says Rapelang Chaka who is testifying as a ninth witness in the matter, killed Mothibe as he wanted to steal his firearm.
This was following evidence by the witness which indicated that a moving vehicle belonging to Mothibe was shot at by Mothusi Tlelase and Sootho Liphoto, some of the accused in this case, while he and Sekhobe Maama were watching.
During cross-examination, the lawyer told the witness that Liphoto will tell the court that on the day Mothibe and Ntsane were killed, he received a call from Tlelase informing him that the witness and Maama were going to secure firearms for him.
