Maseru, Aug. 12 — The defence in a case in which two army members are charged with the murder of Lisebo Tang which occured in 2014 near the home of Retired Army Commander Tlali Kamoli will on November 10 to 13, 2025 continue to present its case before the court.
The accused in this matter Lance Corporal Tjekane Sebolai and Private Selone Ratsiu are facing charges of murder, attempted murder and malicious damage to property.
It is alleged that they shot and killed Lisebo Tang at Ha Leqele on May 09, 2014. It is also alleged that they attempted to kill Tsepo Jane by shooting and injuring him in the same incident. It is further alleged that they also damaged a vehicle belonging to Jane by shooting at it.
The defence has already led evidence from Atlehang Kamoli, the son of the then Army Commander, and Corporal Kopano Matsoso who was on duty with the accused when the incident occured.
