Berea, March 06 — District Football Association (DIFA) Berea says preparations are at an advanced stage whereby at least 12 teams will battle for the championship of Mokhethoaneng Easter Spectacular Soccer Tournament to be staged at Libuping.
DIFA Berea President, Mr. Lekhooa Thabaneng confirmed the development during an interview with the Agency on Wednesday.
Mr. Thabaneng highlighted that the Easter tournament which is set to kick off from March 24 to April 1 is sponsored by Mind Liberation Psychology Consultancy and a lot of prizes which includes a cow, sheep, trophies and others prizes are at stake.
He said the participating teams are drawn from Mokhethoaneng playing in both B and C division, adding that they will first lock horns at the group stages whereby each group will have three teams, then those which will qualify will proceed to the knockout stage.
