DISABLED WANTS COMMUNITY COUNCILLORS TO WORK WITH THEM

Maseru, Oct. 05 — Some people with different kinds of disabilities have urged the newly elected community councillors to engage them for the progressive development of their communities.

They say their disability in not their inability and that it is high time that they are involved and considered in community developments for decision making purposes.

“Work with us, do not work about us”, this was said by a physically disabled, Mr. Mokheseng Ncheke of Katlehong, Maseru told the Agency that he works under Reserve Chief, saying as one of the aged, he knows the needs of his community.
