Mohale’s Hoek, July 30 — The Senior Information Officer at the District Administrator’s office Mr. Lits’oeneng Tiheli has on Tuesday noted that the local authority will do everything in its power to ensure that the District Nutrition Campaign becomes a success, despite budget constraints surrounding the event.
Mr. Tiheli stated this at a meeting held by the District Nutrition Team with the purpose of discussing preparations for the event, by asserting that his office will approach the business sector to provide some items which might be needed during campaigns.
On the other hand, the District Food and Nutrition Coordinating Officer, Mrs. ‘Manyeoe Tsoho articulated that Community Nutrition Clubs will also be engaged in the event, alongside higher learning institutions which offer Home Economics programmes.
However, team members have expressed their concerns regarding some of the things which are being organized in Maseru, citing if there’s something to be bought for the event, it should be done locally, to make it easier for the business sector to also support the event.
