Maseru, Mar.08 — In celebrating International Women’s Day, under the theme, “Investing in Women: Accelerate progress”, the European Union (EU) Lesotho puts a spotlight on the essential and inseparable roles of decent work and gender equality.
This surfaced at the day’s celebration organised by EU together with the National University of Lesotho (NUL) and GEM Institute held in Roma on Friday.
In her address EU Ambassador Mrs. Paola Amadei said that as Lesotho commemorates its 200th anniversary they found it fitting to launch a campaign to advocate for the empowerment of women and girls through the #InvestInWomen initiative. . .
