Qacha’sNek, Nov.29 — A mother to the late son, Mrs. ‘Mahlompho Sekonkoane of Mosenekeng says her family want to be paid ten cows as compensation.

The deceased, Mr. Nelane (32) allegedly died after his friend, Mr.Leentse Thonkha (28) grabbed him by his leg and let go while he was facing down and he fell in a kraal where he sustained serious injuries.

This was said to have occurred after the deceased kicked him on his foot as his way of greeting him as they usually greeted each other playfully.

The Agency has learnt that he was rushed to a nearby clinic, Lebakeng which transferred him to Machabeng hospital, where he died.

Mrs. Sekonkoane told the Agency that they did not report the matter to the police as they were and still are “confused. But we will report once he is buried this coming weekend.”

She revealed that Mr. Thonkha has already contributed M2500 for the burial as they have asked him to help them. . .
