FARMERS WELCOME GRAINS SALE

MASERU — Although Disaster Management Authority (DMA) has halted sale of grains (beans, wheat, sorghum and maize) farmers have applauded the government for opening such a market.

One of the farmers Mr. Motlohi Sekoala who is also Basotho Agricultural Machinery Association, Central Region Chairperson said DMA buys above mentioned grains at fair price thus an encouragement to farmers.

He urged farmers not to be discouraged by the halted sale and believe the market will be re-opened. ” Farming is a profession of good hope” he stressed…
