Qacha’s Nek, Dec. 15 — The community hall in Qacha’s Nek was the site of a groundbreaking fashion show that brought together local designers and models in a celebration of style, culture and ambition.
Hosted by Ms. Maleshota Pheku of Malee Clothing and Polelo Mohapi (aka CMP Art) of Mosotho Bathong, the event attracted fashion designers from Matatiele and was a first for the area.
In an exclusive interview with the Agency, Ms. Pheku shared the inspiration behind the event, explaining how they wanted to bring the vibrancy of fashion to her hometown. “We wanted to show the youth that fashion is a powerful tool that defines who you are and how people address you,” she said.
A first-time co-host, Pheku expressed her excitement, noting that the experience had great potential for her brand’s growth.
