BAP IN COURT BATTLE

Maseru, Dec. 15 — Amidst power struggle that is haunting Basotho Action Party (BAP), its Deputy Leader Mr. Motlatsi Maqelepo has taken the party to courts of law.

The Application was filed by Mr. Motlatsi Maqelepo, Mr. Tello Kibane, Constituency Executive Committee of BAP, Mokhethoaneng no. 27 and Constituency Executive Committee of BAP, Makhoroana no. 20 as first to fourth applicants respectively.

The Respondents are BAP Leader, Prof. Nqosa Mahao, Central Executive Committee of Basotho Action Party, BAP and BAP Disciplinary Committee as first to fourth respondents respectively.

The Applicants seek that a rule nisi issue returnable on such date and time as may be determined by the Court, calling upon the Respondents to show cause, if any, why the normal rules of court relating to periods, forms and modes of service shall not be dispensed on account of the urgency of this matter, the court shall not give directions for the above mentioned matter to be dealt with at such time and in such manner and in accordance with such procedure as the court may determine.
