Mafeteng, Sept. 12 — National Identity Document (ID), Birth Certificate and a formal school letter are major requirements expected from households targeted by the Basic Education Strengthening Project (BESP).
This clarity came out during a one day BESP gathering attended by parents and guardians of Maliepetsane high school learners on Wednesday.
In her address, Ms. Relebohile Mahamo, Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development Bursary Administrator stationed in Botha-Bothe emphasised the importance of these documentations in awarding this once off grant.
She explained that while the government is already paying school fees for some learners for various reasons, the World Bank BESP has numerous components in it including awarding the M1500 top up for uniform.
