Maseru, Oct. 08 — Giving creates a sense of building relations and builds trust hence the need to give and transform lives, Giving Tuesday Country Leader, Mrs. Limpho Moteuli-Ndleleni has said.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency following the launch of the movement in the country, the Country Leader indicated that the generous global movement was formed out of compassion and empathy for others as well as to make a positive influence on the world and its people.
She alluded that this movement started in the United States of America (USA), stating it is often held each year on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Thanksgiving.
According to Mrs. Limpho Moteuli – Ndleleni, this started by giving tangible things, adding as time went on, they started giving all necessary things they felt were of importance to another human being.
