Maseru, Sept. 28 – In celebration of 200 years marking the existence of the Basotho Nation, Giving Tuesday Lesotho was launched during an event held in Maseru on Saturday.
Speaking during the launch, the Country Leader Mrs. Limpho Moteuli-Ndleleni explained that Giving Tuesday is a generous global movement, where everyone has something to give to those in need.
She explained that while the movement commenced in the United States of America (USA), adding it is normally held each year on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Thanksgiving. “This with the intention to meaningfully touch a life in need by giving tangible things including sharing services and above all gifts of the Holy Spirit God has granted each individual”.
