GOVERNMENT REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO IMPROVE SERVICE DELIVERY 

Maseru, Feb. 26 — The Prime Minister, Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane has launched the Civil Service Charter in an event held at ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre in Maseru on Wednesday.


During the launch, Mr. Matekane said that improved quality service delivery is every citizen’s right therefore it is the responsibility of the government to ensure that services are improved and are of quality which will be of benefit for each Mosotho.


He mentioned that it is also important for the officials holding managerial positions within government ministries to ensure that civil servants are equipped with resources and training which will enable them to offer services with utmost transparency and effectiveness.


Mr. Matekane however urged the general public to refrain from issuing bribes to civil servants in return for services as that is also a crime on its own. NT/TL
