Berea, Dec 23 — The Principal Chief of Ha-Majara, Chieftainess Mamolapo Qhobela Majara has sworn in Mr. Hlabathe Bofihla Seeiso Majara (32) as the new Area Chief of Mokhethoaneng on Friday during the ceremony staged at Liboping.
This comes after her mother, Chieftainess Mahlabathe Bofihla Majara who was reigning as the Chieftainess of Mokhethoaneng since the passing of her husband, and her decision to step down came after being given an opportunity to represent chiefs in Kanana Community Council where she recently completed two terms and thus securing pension.
In her remarks, Principal Chief of Ha-Majara Chieftainess Mamolapo said Chief Hlabathe has been under her watchful eye while his mother administered on behalf his son who was still underage then, highlighting that she is quite convinced that the man has sharpened his leadership skills while learning the ropes from his mother. . .
