I ALMOST DIED-MOKHOSI

Maseru,May 13—The current Minister of Labour and Employment Mr. Tseliso Mokhosi says he almost died at the hands of the police in August 2017 when he was arrested in relation to the death of Police Constable Mokalekale Khetheng.

This he said on Monday while testifying as a defence witness during a trial within trial in a case in which four members of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) are charged with the murder of Police Constable Khetheng.

He stated that five police officers: Lethoko, Nkeane, Mohoang, Chabalala and Lebajoa subjected him to the most cruel and inhumane treatment one can imagine, while interrogating him. He indicated that he was assaulted and suffocated adding that he ended up defecating on himself.
