INMATES, PART OF BICENTENNIAL- MOTHOBI

Maseru, Oct. 07 — The bicentennial should not exclude the inmates in upholding rebirth, reflection and transformation, Crime Prevention, Rehabilitation and Reintegration of EX-Offenders (CRROA) Executive Director Mr. Nkalimeng Mothobi has said.

Mr. Mothobi said if the country celebrates unity, peace, love and reconciliation, the Principles of King Moshoeshoe I should apply to all, including the inmates.

He said it is with this regard that the association has written and pleaded with the government through the Minister of Law and Justice to reduce one third of sentences of every inmate to promote reconciliation between the inmates, victims of crime and the entire nation. . .
