Maseru, Nov. 20 — The Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development commemorated international mens day in Maseru on Wednesday.
This day is marked to focus on the health and wellbeing of men and promote gender equality.
Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Gender, Youth and Social development, Mr. Thae Mokhele said men play a vital role in the lives of children and in communities across the country.
He mentioned that their contributions go far beyond providing for their families as they are also responsible for guidance, protecting and emotional support.
