JOURNALISTS TRAINED ON WOMEN FARMERS RIGHTS IN LESOTHO

MASERU–The Transformation Resource Centre (TRC), in collaboration with the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), has invited journalists to a two-day training workshop focusing on ethical reporting of gender-based discrimination and violations of women farmers’ rights. 

The workshop aims to equip media practitioners with the necessary skills to report responsibly on gender and human rights issues, promoting fairness and sensitivity in news coverage.


Media, Information, Communication Management Consultant Mr. Tsebo Matśasa said the aim of the workshop is to capacitate journalists to report accurately and sensitively on human rights violations in the agriculture sector, with a focus on gender discrimination and land rights issues…
