KANANELO CENTRE FOR DEAF COMMEMORATE THEIR DAY

Berea, Oct 26 — With successes and challenges encountered since its establishment in 1991, Kananelo Centre for the Deaf (KCD) at Ha-Buasono, Berea has on Friday celebrated their day.

The school which currently has 58 children from grade R to grade seven was founded by Sister Babtistina Seeng Matsung, but named after a French man who gaven the Sesotho name of Kananelo as a token of appreciation and it has five granted teachers and three hired by the school.

When approached for the comment, KCD Principal Sister Marriam Mosebo said the milestone of 33 years functionality of the school marks a lifetime achievement to be celebrated and also to thank God. . .
