KHOITI EA NGOAHAKHOLO PELI BORING COMMENCES

Leribe, Jan. 15 – The name Khoiti Ea Ngoahakholo Peli by Mrs. Setheha Toloane who has been awarded M50, 000.00 by Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) has won TBM naming competition.

Speaking on behalf of the Prime Minister at the ceremony of starting boring of Khoiti Ea ngoaha kholo Peli Polihali Transfer Tunnel under Lesotho Highlands Water Project Phase II, The Minister of Local Government, Chieftainship and Police Mr. Lebona Lephema said the project has brought change to residents’ life’s thus the government will ensure that they benefit from it.

Mr. Lephema said this at Ha Bereng TBM construction site where he highlighted that the fields and rangelands which the community benefited from are now part of the project, saying it is the government responsibility to see to it that they benefit, and their children get educated.

He appealed to the residents to engage in skills transfer programmes offered by the project so that even after the completion of the project they will use them elsewhere. . . .
