LNDC REFUTES KHASIPE’S SALARY ALLEGATIONS

Maseru, Nov.08 — The Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and also the Chairperson of Lesotho National Development Cooperation (LNDC) Board Ms. Palesa Matobako, has refuted allegations trending on social media regarding the salary of the incoming LNDC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Thabo Khasipe.

The allegations indicate that the LNDC Board is divided over the salary of Mr. Thabo Khasipe as the government proposed that he should earn R400,000 per month instead of M130,000 which was paid to the outgoing LNDC CEO.

Ms Matobako said there’s no such a thing and she could have known as she is the Chairperson, indicating that the Board had a sitting last week and the above was not discussed.

However, she disclosed that Mr. Khasipe will resume duties at LNDC next week Monday as the new CEO. . .
