Maseru, Aug. 14 — The Minister of Gender, Youth and Social Development, Mr. Pitso Lesaooana expressed appreciation to Parliamentarians for having awarded M2, 000, 000 during the previous Olympic Games (OG) held in Paris, France.
He said this when addressing Parliamentarians at the National Assembly on Tuesday, indicating the money has gone a long-way in meeting the needs of local stars of sport half way while in a foreign land.
Meanwhile, Minister Lesaoana officially informed the house that Lesotho was represented by taekwondo star Michelle Tau and marathon stars: Mokulubete Makatisi and Tebello Ramakongoana. . .
