LCN ADVOCATES FOR INVOLVEMENT IN EDUCATION CURRICULUM

Botha-Bothe, April 4 — The Lesotho Council of Non-Governmental Organisations (LCN) engaged with urban councilors and chiefs in discussions aimed at exploring ways community leaders can contribute to the current education curriculum.

During the meeting held in the district today, Mrs. Lebohang Leeu, the Coordinator for the Democracy and Human Rights Commission, emphasized the significant role that councilors and chiefs play in the educational system.

She highlighted their unique position of trust within the community, underscoring the importance of their understanding and support for the curriculum to enhance public comprehension and decision making.

Mrs. Leeu pointed out that the existing curriculum adopts a learner-centered approach, prioritizing the individual talents and abilities of students.
