Quthing, Nov. 01 — The Area Chief of Ha-Makoloane Chief Neo Makoloane has expressed the need for maintenance of leaking clean water supply storage tanks that provide different villages within his area.
In an interview with the Agency, Chief Makoloane said the clean water supply storage tank also benefits essential service providers in the district as they get clean water pumped into water supply takers to refill storage tanks in such institutions during drought season.
He stated that public essential service providers that access clean water from Ha-Makoloane storage tank include; government hospital, Lesotho Correctional Services (LCS), some health clinics out of Quthing town and some schools.
The Chairperson of Makoloane Water Committee Mr. Mahlelebe Mahlelebe said the area is supplied with clean water from the electric pumping system and the system is reliable as communities from the area have access to clean water despite drought season. . .
