LEC CLAIMS TO BE OWED OVER MILLION FOR POWER

Maseru, May 21 — About 14 Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) super agents and agents still owe the company about M1.8 Million for electricity.

This transpired during LEC’s general report to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) at the meeting held at Parliament premises on Wednesday.

LEC Acting Head of Corporate Experience Mr. Ts’epo Mololo said the agents are owing between M2,000 and M1,105, 000,  disclosing the amount  each agent owes, with Cell Power super-agent owing LEC M1, 105 000. . .
