Mokhotlong, Nov. 19 — Members of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Natural Resources are on a two days visit in Mokhotlong to review progress on the implementation of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP) Phase II.
The Committee Chairperson, Mr. Moeketsi Motsoane, who is a member of Parliament (MP) for Mafeteng Constitution has said when speaking about the purpose of their visit in the district on Tuesday.
Mr. Motsoane said the committee is mandated to oversee projects being implemented and the water project is one of such projects.
The Committee was taken on a tour to Masenkeng to view progress made on the rehabilitation of a wetland in that area.
