Maseru, Feb. 28 – The media in its entirety, particularly broadcast media, has played a tremendous role in enhancing the principles of democracy in a democratic dispensation.
This through informing, educating and entertaining the audience by airing different programmes and news, a local writer and Faculty of Communication Lecturer at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT), Mr. Khotso Moabi has said.
This he said when speaking with the Agency following presentation of the 2025/26 fiscal year budget, where the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Dr. Retsélisitsoe Matlanyane talked about the establishment of a Broadcasting Centre in the country.
Mr. Moabi has commended this move, stating these are some of the notable achievements the country ought to register after gaining independence from Britain in 1966. . . .
