Maseru, May 14 – Member of Parliament for Makhaleng Constituency Mr. Mootsi Lehata has been let off the hook by Members of Parliament after dismissing the report on the alleged disorderly conduct recommended by the Sessional Select Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct, Immunities and Privileges.
Basotho National Party (BNP) Leader Mr. Machesetsa Mofomobe said the committee should be aware that its recommendations for Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane as well as the Makhaleng Member of Parliament to apologise before the House will haunt the country.
He said if the whole Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations could be allowed to apologize for having behaved in a disorderly manner it would paint a bad image on the Minister who is deemed to be the face of the country internationally. . .
