LESOTHO FACES TB PANDEMIC-MOCHOBOROANE

Maseru, April 03 — Lesotho is rated amongst the 30 high burden countries based on the highest Tuberculosis (TB) incidents.

This emerged at the multi sectoral accountability framework to end TB within the corporate symposium which was held by the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Maseru on Wednesday.

While presenting his keynotes, the Minister of Health Mr. Selibe Mochoboroane said that Tuberculosis is reported to be in the top 10 of the common diseases that kill people across the globe.

He stated that currently Lesotho is facing a TB pandemic which he said calls for all relevant stakeholders to hold hands with the Ministry of Health as to ensure that the fight towards ending TB comes to a success.
