LIKUENA FACES TOUGH TIME AHEAD

Maseru, April 18 — The Lesotho’s senior soccer squad, affectionately knick named Likuena faces a tough time this season enroute to 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which resume in June this year.

Likuena Mentor Mr. Leslie Notsi told the Agency on Thursday that the boys from the Mountain Kingdom will face Rwanda and Zimbabwe in a space of two days at Moses Mabhida Stadium in the KwaZulu/Natal Province in South Africa.

He said luckily, Zimbabwe will be using the Moses Mabhida Stadium as their home ground venue, which Lesotho will also be using for the Rwanda group C FIFA World Cup qualifier.

As if that will not be enough, Mr. Notsi said Likuena players will be forced to remain in Durban since the regional Council of Southern African Football Association (COSAFA) Cup will also kick off in Durban a few weeks later.
