Maseru, May 30 — The Minister of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation (MICSTI) commended Vodacom Lesotho Foundation (VLF) sponsored ICT teachers training project at Lesotho College of Education (LCE) on Thursday.
In her speech, Minister Nthati Moorosi highlighted the importance of capacitating teachers with ICT skills in today’s world of digital transformation.
She thanked VLF for having found it befitting to liaise with LCE in sponsoring the project which is in alignment with national policy on digital education as well as the Ministry of Information digitisation programme.
“This will go a long way again in putting Lesotho at par with global education trends,” she said.
