Maseru, Mar. 20 — The Director for Department of Water Affairs (DWA), Mr. Motoho ‘Maseatile, presented the DWA projected plans, achievements, challenges and forward.
This he did at a one day water forum held in Maseru on Wednesday. When presenting he said DWA’s mandate is to manage quantity and quality of surface and subsurface water resources of Lesotho for socioeconomic development of Basotho.
He also addressed the key functions of his department of which he said are, water resources assessment, water resources allocation, water resources pollution management, water resources protection and conservation as well as wetlands management. . .
