MoET TO HAND OVER ADMINISTRATION BLOCK TO PULANE COMBINED SCHOOL

Berea, Aug. 10 — The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) will hand over an administration block to Pulane Combined School in Malimong on Friday, following the completion of the facility identified as the school’s main infrastructure need.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency, Acting District Manager MoET Mrs. ’Matholoana Sello said the administration block comprises two female toilets, one male toilet and a kitchen.

She said Pulane Combined School is a growing school, adding that lack of an administration block was its major infrastructure challenge.

Mrs. Sello said the Ministry provides infrastructure to schools according to their specific needs, noting that some schools will receive science laboratories, while others will receive classrooms or toilets, depending on their main infrastructure needs.

She said the provision of such infrastructure is based on the needs of individual schools and is intended to create a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

The development forms part of the Ministry’s efforts to improve school infrastructure and enhance teaching and learning by providing schools with facilities that meet their specific needs.
