COMMUNITY RECEIVES HEALTH SERVICES AS ELECTRICITY PROJECT IS LAUNCHED IN BEREA

BEREA — Residents of Lifotholeng and surrounding villages received free health services on Monday during the launch of an electrification project to Ha-Tebalete and nearby communities by the Ministry of Energy.

“We are bringing health services closer to the people so that they can easily know their health status,” she said.

Mrs. Mohlomi explained that the team conducted screenings and tests for HIV, Tuberculosis (TB), and cancer.

She added that individuals who tested positive or required further medical attention are immediately linked to treatment and follow-up care.

The health outreach formed part of activities marking the official rollout of electricity in the area, bringing essential medical services closer to residents who often face challenges accessing healthcare facilities.
